Gay Nightlife in San Antonio? March 17-21
You can look into Bonham Exchange, which is at 411 Bonham St. within walking distance of the Riverwalk. There are a few other bars clustered a little north of downtown but these are _not_ within walking distance of downtown. Among these are the Silver Dollar, a country bar at 1418 N. Main, which is next to Pegasus at 1402 N. Main, and the Saint at 1430 N. Main. Even if you don't depart into the bars, there are a lot of people that hang out in the parking lots and talk. There's a small gay neighborhood north and somewhat east of downtown, but it doesn't have much more than a coffee shop. I can't remember the designate of the street.
Have a good time and savor the food!! You can probably meet locals the first night who will steer you to the best spots for the following nights, but I've never gone wrong at Bonham on a Friday or Saturday.
Getting to San Antonio is easy, no matter your preferred method of tour. Whether you glide, drive, ride the rails, or grab the bus, you have reliable options that bring you right into the heart of the city.
Planes: Considered the fastest and easiest way to travel,San Antonio International Airport (SAT), located roughly 8 miles north of downtown, serves over 20 passenger airlines with nonstop flights to more than 35 U.S. and Mexican cities. Once you land, rent a car, dial a taxi or rideshare (Uber/Lyft), or hop on the VIA Express bus. Route 7 links you directly to downtown and park‑and‑ride facilities.
Trains: Getting to San Antonio by coach is possible, but not always straightforward. If you dwell outside of Texas or the Midwest, you’ll likely necessitate to connect through Chicago or Modern Orleans before boarding a long-distance way like the Texas Eagle or the Sunset Limited. Explore times vary depending on where you start, but you should plan for a multi-day trip with at least one transfer along the way.
Automobiles: There’s nothing like a road trip that lets you observe everything worth seeing between here and there. You can reach the metropolis via I‑10 (east‑west), I‑35 (north‑south), I‑37,

This year, Pride’s bringing a little more hit. The Rainbow Rodeo theme celebrates San Antonio’s Texas roots and LGBTQ+ pride in full, bold color. From decked-out floats to cowboy flair, this parade is part party, part spectacle and all heart.

The La Villita & Arneson River Theatre Celebration

Meet at the Arneson River Theatre for an afternoon of exist on-stage entertainment from DJs, bands, impersonators, dancers, and more! Then, head to La Villita Historic Arts Village to peruse food and art vendors.
