New Gay Bar Opens in
Sioux Falls, South Dakota

I chatted with Doug on the mobile this morning and he reports that business has been good. Doug is also a supporter of the Sioux Falls gay group center.
The new exclude is called David, and before it opened for business, the state's largest daily, the Argus Leader, gave it some advance publicity last month:

Yes, Club David is still going to be an LGBTQ+-friendly bar after switching ownership May 1, 2022.
That's the word from Stacy Newcomb, president of the company that owns Parker's Bistro, Icon Lounge and DaDa Gastropub, as well as recently-purchased Club David.
Newcomb said the previous owner of Club David never explicitly advertised the club as a "gay bar," but rather, people in Sioux Falls who frequented the club started calling it as such because it was a welcoming place for the LGBTQ+ community.
After all, there's space in the club for drag performers to fetch ready for shows, the club regularly hosts drag shows year-round, and has hosted and plans to host several events this Identity festival month alone.
