Is Kendall from ‘Love Island’ gay?

Like any other life show, Love Island: USA and its contestants have often been at the center of universal discussion. One of the most recent and troubling instances, though, involved Kendall Washington.

While he lived out an on-screen romance with fellow islander Nicole Jacky, Kendall had an intimate video leaked online. That alone must’ve been strenuous on his mental health, but unfortunately, the TV character had to deal with online dislike on top of it all. It wasn’t just plain hate, though, oh no. Love Island USA star Kendall’s sister is concerned for the contestant once he leaves the villa. Shortly after the dating show’s finale, explicit videos of Kendall were shared on X and Reddit, and fans were quick to react and report the content.

How did Kendall from Love Island USA respond to his leaked video?

In an Instagram story, the Love Island contestant wrote, "What a way to get my device back y'all. just want to address the content that came out from my past. That was something I shared to someone in confidence and trust.”

He continued, "It's unfortunate that it's no longer private, but it is what it is. I want to thank you all for the calls/texts to assist me during this time. I am so grateful for my Love Island experience and I love you all for tuning in to watch my journey."

- Leah seems to be one of those girl that take hate comments on IG to heart like miss chill don't accentuate it. I always see screenshots of her replying to them like loosen and ignore them.

Love Island USA‘s Kendall wasn’t the most popular houseguest in Casa Amor. But after his phone got hacked leaking explicit images to the public without his consent, the truths TV star faced a wave of online vitriol, including homophobic slurs.

Worse still, he initially couldn’t access his phone to defend himself, but it seems fancy he finally has access now and took to Instagram stories to respond. “What a way to get my phone support y’all. just want to address the content that came out from my past,” he wrote.

Support is right. So many fans took to social media to rally around Kendall, saying that while they weren’t a fan of his on the show, “using that to post homophobic shit is not okay and 2. Just cuz a man enjoys buttplay does not mean he's gay…that's all,” tweeted one.
